Youth Group

Our youth group meets in the youth room every Sunday night during regular church hours. They take a deep dive into God’s Word each week. They are taught the Bible in a corporate setting, form lifelong relationships with one another, and learn to pass on what they have been taught about Jesus for the rest of their lives.

Youth Small Groups

W3 led by Ryan Strahan - meets every Wednesday at 6:00 in the Youth Room. This class is open to girls, grades 7th-12th.

M3 led by Steven May - meets every Wednesday at 6:00 in the Youth Room. This class is open to boys, grades 7th-12th.

Youth Drama Ministry

The drama ministry is led by Marlene Eady and focuses on teaching youth how to use their talents in drama to tell others about Jesus. They have “shows” periodically throughout the year which may consist of monologues, plays, or other unique expressions. They also participate in the Sunday morning worship services from time to time. This is a seasonal class, so be sure to contact the church office for details of when the class starts each year.

We offer Bible Drills classes for grades 7th - 12th along with adults! This is a seasonal class, so be sure to contact the church office for details of when the class starts each year. SBC has been doing Bible Drills for almost 30 years! This is a class where the children memorize verses, passages, and books of the Bible so that they can hide the Word of the Lord in their hearts for the rest of their lives.

Children’s Ministries

Kingdom kids

Mission Friends, GAs, & RAs are programs for children ages 4-6th grade that learn about what God is doing through our Missionaries in the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and International Mission Board (IMB) along with teaching children the Bible and other disciplines. This group meets every Sunday night during regular church hours.

Bible Drills

This is a class where the children memorize verses, passages, and books of the Bible so that they can hide the Word of the Lord in their hearts for the rest of their lives. Children’s Choir

Children’s Choir is offered for children ages 4 thru 6th grade. Children’s Choir has a goal of raising up music leaders for the future and encouraging musical abilities to worship the Lord freely. This class takes place as part of the regular children’s class hours on Wednesday nights. See church schedule.

The Ramp

The Ramp is a class specifically designed for boys and girls ages 10-12. This class is held during regular Wednesday PM church hours. The goal of the class is to send graduating 6th graders into the Youth Group prepared with the Word of God! We are striving to raise up the next leaders of God’s Kingdom by teaching them core disciplines. We desire for these children to understand the big story of the Bible and be able to explain it, memorize scripture, pray, read the entire Bible every year, and be able to meet people where they are with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
